Learn The Bingo History

So how did Bingo start? In the United States it started as Beano. It could usually be found at county fair and boardwalks. The caller, as they are known today, would draw random numbers from a box of some sort, usually a cigar box. Paying customers would then cover numbers on cards with beans. Bingo History: Sweet History of Game

If we dig deep into the history of Bingo, we can see that the history of Bingo dates back to 16th century. It was first played in Italy. The game was then called “Lo Giuoco del Lotto D’Italia”. In 18th century Frenchmen played a game called “Le Lotto” which was quite similar. The Origins of Bingo Games Is Bingo History!

The origins of bingo, as with most games, is shrouded in the mists of history. However, we can trace the idea back to the 1500′s where the Italians invented a lottery game to be played ‘en masse’ rather like Bingo is today. “Lo Giuoco del Lotto d’Italia” was the very first state run lottery which proved to be so popular it is still played today.
